Somewhat eclectic architecturally, this was originally a village manor house that combined a collection of old agricultural buildings and an 18th Century house. Demanding sensitive refurbishment, the client was keen to create a fresh individual style within a traditional setting.
Structurally unsound, the house had to be totally gutted and re-roofed right at the start of the project.
The exterior of the main house had to be sensitively restored with the addition of a new porch. Beyond structure, we were also briefed to address the interior and furniture design.
This is a large phased project with areas being completed as and when required.
